JEOLLABUK-DO

Jeollabuk-do Province is home to a “slow city” that well preserves the traditional culture of Korea. Visitors can rent traditional Korean clothing called “hanbok” and elegantly walk along the long rows of hanok (traditional Korean residence) at the Jeonju Hanok Village. The Korean folktale “Chunhyangjeon” was set in the city of Namwon, and there are many places throughout the city where the love story is told.
