The Gyeonggi Grand Tour encompasses 50 major tourist attractions and 147 auxiliary attractions in Gyeonggi-do, the province that circles Seoul and the Hangang River, which cuts across the center of the Korean Peninsula. The attractions, which are classified according to four themes—history, culture, nature and peace—have been carefully selected to include the most representative destinations of the province, such as Hwaseong Fortress in Suwon, Haengjusanseong Fortress in Goyang, Botanical Garden BCJ, Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park and Mimesis Art Museum in Paju, and Gimpo Independence Movement Memorial and Munsusanseong Fortress in Gimpo. The tour also includes 5 themed parks (Everland, Uiwang Rail Park, Seoul Land, Woongjin Playdoci and Onemount) and 15 local festivals where visitors can enjoy and create unforgettable memories of Korea.
