Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP):
This free-form architectural masterpiece was designed by the late Zaha Hadid. Opened in 2014, the DDP has quickly become the most iconic landmark of the Korean design industry. It consists of exhibition halls, museums, shops, restaurants, coffee shops, display areas, and much more. Every March and October, the DDP becomes the venue for Seoul Fashion Week, and many other cultural events and programs are held throughout the year.

Dongdaemun Fashion Town:
This is a large fashion town where modern shopping malls and traditional markets coexist. Dongdaemun Fashion Town is open 24 hours, making it an excellent place for nighttime shopping. Malls such as Doota, Migliore, and FITIN sell the latest trends, as well as original items by local designers.
