DOLMEN-STÄTTEN VON GOCHANG, HWASUN UND GANGHWA
These megalithic dolmens are valuable relics of the prehistoric era. With more than 30,000 dolmens discovered in Korea alone, the Gochang, Hwasun and Ganghwa Dolmen Sites contain the highest density and greatest variety in Korea, and perhaps the world. They were very well preserved and are of great value for providing information about the prehistoric people and their funeral rituals, art, culture, society and life in general.
